Our client is looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined Apprentice Welder to join their fabrication workshop in **Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA**. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to learn the trade of welding and metal fabrication, working under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will develop essential skills in various welding techniques and gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment.

The apprenticeship program will provide comprehensive training covering safety procedures, blueprint reading, metal preparation, and the operation of welding equipment. You will assist in fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, a good eye for detail, and the physical stamina to perform the job. You will be trained on different welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, becoming proficient in producing high-quality welds. This hands-on training is crucial for building a successful career in the skilled trades.

Key Responsibilities: Learn and practice various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications. Prepare metal surfaces for welding, ensuring they are clean and properly fitted. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Perform welding operations on various types of metals and thicknesses. Assemble and fabricate metal components according to project requirements.
