GLUING MACHINE OPERATOR - PACKAGING / MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced Gluing Machine Operator with strong carton packaging and machine operating experience for a manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gluing machines efficiently
• Set up machines according to production requirements
• Conduct quality checks on finished products
• Minimize downtime and material wastage
• Ensure production targets are achieved
• Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Report machine faults and production issues
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times

Preferred Experience:
• Straight line and crash lock carton experience
• FMCG or printing/packaging industry exposure
• High-speed production environment experience

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating gluing machines
• Experience within packaging, printing, or carton manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read job cards and production specifications
• Quality focused with strong attention to detail
• Able to work shifts and overtime when required
• Good communication skills
• Available immediately will be advantageous
