Our client, a renowned player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an innovative and results-oriented Brand Manager to join their vibrant marketing team in **Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA**. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that drive market share, increase brand awareness, and foster strong consumer loyalty. Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement strategic brand plans, including marketing objectives, strategies, and budgets. Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to identify opportunities and challenges. Manage the brand's positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels. Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, digital marketing, and public relations. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective brand execution at the point of sale. Monitor brand performance, analyze sales data, and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage the brand's P&L and ensure profitable growth. Oversee product development and innovation pipeline for the brand. Work closely with agencies (advertising, PR, digital) to develop and execute marketing initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Present brand plans and performance reports to senior management. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior. Manage packaging design and label compliance. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, preferably within the FMCG sector. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing consumer brands. Strong understanding of marketing principles, market research, and consumer behavior. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. Strong project management and budget management skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and marketing analytics tools. Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for brands.
