The role sits within our Distribution Management – Logistics & Transport Operations Division, reflecting a structured operational reporting line aligned to safe, efficient, and reliable product distribution across supply chain networks.

Role Purpose
PHAHLA™ Vodka invites suitably qualified and responsible individuals to apply for the role of Driver – Distribution & Logistics (Abaphahli Mobility Team Member).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods between the warehouse, customers, and partners. The role plays a critical part in ensuring delivery reliability, customer satisfaction, and brand representation on the road.

Key Responsibilities
Transport & Delivery Execution
• Safely operate company vehicles for product distribution
• Deliver orders accurately, on time, and in full
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
• Obtain proof of delivery (POD) and ensure proper documentation
Loading & Offloading
• Assist with loading and unloading stock
• Ensure goods are secured and transported without damage
• Verify stock against delivery notes before departure
Vehicle Management
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, tyres, oil, cleanliness)
• Report mechanical issues, damages, or incidents immediately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation
Customer & Brand Representation
• Represent PHAHLA™ Vodka professionally at delivery points
• Maintain respectful and professional communication with clients
• Uphold brand image as part of the Abaphahli team
Compliance & Safety
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and traffic laws
• Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993)
• Follow safe driving and handling practices at all times
• Report accidents, delays, or safety risks immediately
Operational Support
• Assist warehouse team when not on delivery runs
• Support stock handling, dispatch preparation, and logistics tasks when required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
● Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential
● Valid South African Driver’s License (Code B or higher)
● Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) – Advantageous / Required for certain routes
● 1–2 years driving experience (delivery/logistics preferred)
● Good knowledge of Gauteng routes
● Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading
● Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
