Volt is immediately hiring for TIG Welder in Chatsworth, CA

As a TIG Welder, you will:
• Perform high?precision GTAW welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Review and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and project specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, measuring, and fitting parts for welding.
• Inspect completed welds to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety and production standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow proper safety practices in the work area.
• Work closely with team members to support daily production goals.
• Min. 1+ year of experience in aerospace industry.

This is a full-time, contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Demonstrated experience with GTAW (TIG) welding processes.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and fabrication instructions.
• Experience welding various metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, and steel.
• Solid understanding of welding safety procedures.
• Welding certifications (AWS/ASME) are a plus.

Pay Rate: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
