Job Title: Travel Welder
Pay: $30hr
Per Diem: $125
Location: Coatesville, PA

Job Description

This role supports structural steel projects by erecting, connecting, and installing structural steel and metal components. You will perform welding, cutting, rigging, and field fabrication while working at heights and following strict safety standards. You will read and interpret blueprints and specifications and collaborate closely with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities
• Erect, connect, and install structural steel and metal components in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Perform welding, including MIG and flux core welding, and cutting operations to fabricate and install steel members and assemblies.
• Safely move, lift, and position structural steel using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout, dimensions, and installation requirements.
• Execute field fabrication tasks, including measuring, cutting, framing, and installing steel components as needed on site.
• Work at heights on structural steel frameworks while maintaining strict adherence to all safety procedures and fall protection requirements.
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to coordinate tasks, sequence work, and meet project deadlines.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
