Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction plumbing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial construction projects.
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipes and fittings according to specifications.
• Work with various plumbing materials, including PVC, copper, and cast iron.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with local building codes.
• Operate hand and power tools used in plumbing installation and repair.
• Lead and supervise a small crew of apprentices and helpers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to quality standards.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project completion.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with all plumbing regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:
• Valid Journeyman Plumbers License. (Varies by State)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing installation.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and local plumbing codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Experience working with various hand and power tools used in plumbing.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check.
