Job Description
This position works 8 am to 5 pm, but duties will vary from day to day. This position puts in 40 to 50 hours a week. Will report to Dock Supervisor daily. Our warehouse in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago supports our retail stores.

Job duties include:
• Create Custom Boxes for Packing and Skidding of furniture.
• Preparing small furnishings, home accessories and frames for shipment including packing, and creating labels.
• Using a forklift, pallet jack, or dolly to move items.
• Helping load or unload trucks.
• Handle light administrative receiving duties.
• Verifying items of incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Qualifications:
• Applicants who have at least 2 year driving truck with C license and No Accidents would qualify for 6 month early rate increase.
• 2 year shipping or receiving experience.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Good communications skills, both verbal and written are required and experience using a computer is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally throughout the workday.
• Must be available to work Saturdays on occasion.
• 2 yr. Experience driving sit-down forklifts with no history of accidents a plus.
• Must be professional, on time, present daily, and doesn't waste time.
