Electrical Technician

The Ministry of Manpower sets the national minimum wage at 7,000 EGP per month for packing staff roles effective January 2026. Daily overtime after 8 hours must be paid at 150% of the hourly rate, with a maximum of 12 hours total per day.

Applicants need a secondary education certificate plus at least 6 months of documented warehouse or packing experience under Egyptian Labour Law No. 12 of 2003. No professional license is required but completion of a basic occupational safety course is mandatory before starting.

Submit a national ID copy, recent medical fitness certificate from a Ministry-approved clinic, and proof of prior employment stamped by the Social Insurance Authority. Applications must be filed via the Ministry of Manpower e-portal by the 15th of each month for the following quarter.

Packing staff are limited to 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week with Friday as the mandatory rest day. Employees receive 21 days of paid annual leave after the first year plus 7 days sick leave per year covered by social insurance contributions.
