Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Truck Driver will operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently between designated locations while following assigned routes and schedules. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading cargo as needed, and ensuring proper securing of freight. The role also involves maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation, communicating with dispatch and warehouse teams, and promptly reporting any delays, incidents, or maintenance issues. The Truck Driver is expected to comply with all applicable traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and to keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and ready for operation.
Qualifications
• Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, with strong Truck Driving experience.
• Hands-on experience with safe loading, securing, and Unloading of cargo.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and other relevant safety and transport guidelines.
• Familiarity with operating and performing basic checks on a Truck and related equipment.
• Ability to read maps, follow GPS directions, and meet delivery schedules reliably.
• Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company policies.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Ability to lift and move loads as required and to work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Previous experience in regional or local freight transport within Egypt or similar environments is preferred.
