Job description
Become a crucial part of Smurfit Westrock as a Finishing Packer. This full-time role focuses on ensuring quality packaging and compliance with safety standards every shift.
As a Finishing Packer, you will handle daily operations, including packing, drilling, and banding finished products. You will also prepare orders according to customer specifications, maintain a clean workspace, and perform inspections. Adhere to all safety guidelines and quality procedures while supporting a productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment consistently
• Prepare orders for packaging according to customer specifications
• Set up Shranklin for proper shrink-wrapping sizes
• Inspect finished packages and place them into containers
• Set up conveyor systems for combo orders
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• One year of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for the entire shift
• Must comply with attendance and safety policies
