Pivotal Staffing is currently hiring for our client in Edmonton Alberta,

We are seeking a Counter Balance forklift driver for a Shipper Receiver Picker Packer

Must be licensed and experienced.

Hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday

Pay is $22-$24

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Picking and Packing all orders that are to be completed and shipped from the shop daily
• Pick products from shelves as per orders, pack, and label parcels for shipment
• Organize, review, and check orders,
• Review receiving shipment documents, input received goods into the system
• Assemble skids for safe shipment
• Participate in cycle/physical counts & inventory operations as required.
• Receive products from vendors as they are delivered, including the verification of the number of items received as well as assuring that it is the correct product ordered.
• Help the production team to organize the floor and inventory, put stock away accordingly. Replenish Shelves.
• Load/unload trucks using pallet truck, check delivery slips and BOL’s to confirm correct product and count
• Request help from licensed team members able to use the forklift to move products & pallets and ensuring products that requires storage are placed in the appropriate areas.
• Wrap/Strap Pallets
• Service customers, receive shipments from suppliers, provide information to delivery drivers
• Cut belts manually using knives/snips.
• Inspect freight for damages and report if any are found
• Organize delivery schedule and instruct delivery drivers accordingly
• Generate delivery slips and BOL’s either electronically or manually
• Book courier, freight, domestic and export shipments online
• Tracking shipments and sending out confirmation of tracking numbers to customers.
• Ensure that the standards are met as it pertains to proper inspection, packaging of products received and shipped
• Work hand in hand with belting technicians’ team to ship product off the belt shop
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S
• Keep the dock neat and tidy
• Comply with all company procedures and safety practices
• Attend prescribed courses and training as required
• Other duties as required by the Management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & REQUIREMENTS
• Prior experience in Picking – Packing, Shipping-Receiving using computer system is required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
• Proficiency with MS office, internet solutions, computerized systems - software or ERP
• Able to read, write, and must have basic mathematical skills
• Regularly required to stand; walk, for extended periods of time
• Excellent attendance
• Good hand/eye coordination & attention to details
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to push/pull up to 35 pounds
• Able to work over-time and weekend shifts if required
• Prior experience with Forklift is an asset
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in Canada.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
