Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail, reliability, and excellent customer service are highly valued. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The position requires strong communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.

Responsibilities
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or facility environments
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks as needed
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting equipment issues
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently to ensure high standards of cleanliness
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests or concerns professionally and promptly
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and visitors

Experience
• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is advantageous
• Experience in customer service roles demonstrates strong communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients professionally

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
