Job Description
We are seeking a disciplined and highly skilled Senior Guard Armed (Grade A) to join our security team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert oversight of security operations, lead specialized teams, and ensure the safety of personnel and property through vigilant access control and mobile patrols. You will also serve as a mentor to junior staff, ensuring that our high standards of security are maintained across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities
• Operational Oversight: Manage and monitor access control points and lead special function teams, including mobile patrol units, to ensure comprehensive site security.
• Team Leadership & Training: Conduct hands-on, on-the-job training for subordinate guards to improve team performance and adherence to protocols.
• Specialized Security Duties: Execute tasks requiring advanced technical skills or increased levels of responsibility beyond standard supervision.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and verify firearms certifications in strict accordance with local labor laws and contractual mandates.
• Emergency Response: Act as a primary responder for security incidents, utilizing specialized training to de-escalate or neutralize threats.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience
• Successful completion of a Grade 12 / Matric;

Language Skills
• Local Language: Full command and fluency in the local language.
• English proficient

Certifications & Licensing
• Driver’s License: Must hold a valid, current host-country driver’s license.
• Firearms Certification: Must be able to complete and maintain formal firearms training and certification as required by local law and the specific contract.
