Our client is a leading provider of specialized cleaning and sanitation services, seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Cleaning Supervisor for their operations in **Polokwane, Limpopo, ZA**. Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of cleaning staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and plans for industrial and commercial sites. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety are met. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance. Enforce health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Address and resolve any client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Report on team performance, site conditions, and supply usage to management. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of cleaning personnel. Ensure all cleaning staff are properly trained on the use of equipment and chemicals. Promote a positive and safety-conscious work environment. Perform hands-on cleaning duties when necessary to ensure operational continuity. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance. Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning services, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices for various industrial settings. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Good organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
