Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, in patient rooms, hallways, and common areas
• Disinfect and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and furniture to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Empty and dispose of trash and hazardous waste according to hospital guidelines
• Restock supplies such as paper products and soap in patient rooms and bathrooms
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses and maintain a healthy environment
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure their needs are met
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times
• Participate in training and development programs to improve job knowledge and skills
