About us

Restaurant Aleksandar in Rittenhouse is looking for host and FOH support staff. We offer flexible scheduling. Positive work culture and life balance is important to us.

Responsibilities include
• Provide excellent customer service
• Greet customers and present menus
• Guide guests to tables
• Familiarity with Open Table is a +
• To go order processing
• Arrange reservations
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
• Coat check
• Clearing and resetting tables
• Run food to tables

Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders before delivering them to customers
- Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer concerns or inquiries promptly
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and servers
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food service procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Proficient in using POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
