As a Security Guard - Hotel Property Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, greet guests and staff with strong customer service, and communicate clearly when responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout hotel and resort areas including lobbies, hallways, amenities, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe guest areas for unusual activity, helping to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized access; document observations according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire and alarm activations, and notifying the appropriate parties.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and guest or staff interactions, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and/or location management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have a state, county, or city issued security license, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
