GÜVENLİK GÖREVLİSİ

As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, the minimum wage for welder positions in Turkey is 26,005 TL per month as of January 2026. Night shift welders receive an additional 1,500 TL monthly premium and overtime is compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 45 hours per week.

As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, foreign welders must submit a valid passport, diploma or vocational certificate, health report, and employer sponsorship letter to obtain a work permit. Applications must be filed online at least 30 days before the contract start date with a 2026 processing fee of 1,850 TL.

As per the Mesleki Yeterlilik Kurumu, welders require a Level 3 vocational certificate from a MEYB or equivalent plus 2 years of documented experience in shielded metal arc welding. Applicants without the certificate must complete a 320-hour approved training program before employment.

As per the Türkiye İş Kurumu, applicants register at an İŞKUR office or online portal with national ID, CV, and welder certificate then apply to listed vacancies. Employers must notify İŞKUR of hires within 5 business days and new contracts require e-signature by 15 February 2026 for seasonal positions.
