The Opportunity As a Senior Data Centre Electrical Engineer at Arup, you'll play a vital role in designing and delivering the electrical infrastructure for state-of-the-art data centres. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to Arup's global expertise in data centre design.What You Will Do Demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre design principles. Undertake electrical design elements for major data centre projects. Work closely with general contractors, other engineers, architects, and project management teams. Manage the production of drawings. Prepare and coordinate electrical reports and specifications. Supervise and coordinate the work of others, ensuring effective collaboration with engineers of other disciplines and project managers. Attend meetings and communicate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Does this role inspire you? We Are Seeking a Highly Motivated And Experienced Individual With a Passion For Electrical Engineering In The Context Of Data Centres. We Also Value A degree in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field. Extensive experience in data centre design, with a proven track record on medium- to large-scale projects. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver electrical engineering solutions for major projects, specifically data centres. Experience leading teams on multi-disciplinary projects. A strong understanding of balancing engineering priorities on diverse projects. Proven ability to quickly develop successful client relationships. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English.
