Our operations integrate mining, processing, engineering, and maintenance disciplines while prioritizing safety, local development, and operational efficiency.We are currently seeking an experienced HME & Maintenance Workshop Engineer to join our operations in West Africa.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain detailed documentation to support maintenance activities and workshop operationsMonitor and track field service reports, maintenance records, and equipment performance dataMonitor mining and surface equipment conditions and consolidate maintenance-related data from site teamsAnalyze equipment availability, reliability, downtime, and maintenance KPIsSupport preventive and corrective maintenance planning activitiesCollaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with maintenance strategies and operational targetsContribute to workshop planning, reporting, and equipment optimization processesEnsure compliance with company safety standards and maintenance proceduresQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplinesExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience in heavy mobile equipment (HME), workshop maintenance, or mining equipment maintenanceExperience in mining, heavy industry, construction, or large-scale industrial operations is preferredExperience in maintenance planning and equipment performance analysis is an advantageTechnical SkillsGood knowledge of maintenance management systems and workshop operationsExperience with SAP PM or other ERP/maintenance management systems is preferredStrong analytical and reporting skills related to equipment performance and maintenance KPIsGood command of MS Office applicationsSoft SkillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsSelf-disciplined, proactive, and result-oriented approachStrong planning, organization, and reporting capabilitiesAdaptability to multicultural working environments and willingness to learnAdditional RequirementsExcellent command of English, both written and verbalWilling to relocate to West AfricaAbility to adapt to international site working conditionsStrong commitment to safety and operational standards
