Job Summary
You will support cleaning operations by directing custodians, operating cleaning equipment, managing inventory, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas.
Responsibilities
• Direct custodians to complete janitorial tasks effectively under Cleaner Supervisor guidance
• Assist Cleaner Supervisor in scheduling and training cleaning staff to maintain team readiness
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment safely to ensure thorough cleaning of assigned areas
• Track and manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs to ensure operational readiness
• Maintain daily cleanliness and upkeep of assigned work areas to meet quality standards
• Monitor and manage supplies inventory to ensure availability of cleaning materials
• Observe employees’ use of personal protective equipment and supplies to enforce safety compliance
• Identify and correct at-risk behaviors among staff, reporting issues promptly to supervisors
• Recommend corrective actions to improve cleaning processes and workplace safety
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures, intervening to stop unsafe behaviors by self or others
• Collaborate with team members to complete work assignments efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support operational effectiveness
