Foreign workers need a Work Permit (WP) for cleaning roles, with employers paying a levy of S$450 per month for workers in employer-provided dorms as of 2024. Source countries include Bangladesh, China (non-Mandarin), India, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Philippines. Quotas limit foreign workers to 87.1% of workforce in cleaning firms.
Q What education or age is required to qualify for cleaning staff jobs in Singapore?
