Lifeguard positions in Al Rayyan

As per the Ministry of Labour, the minimum wage for security guards in Qatar is QAR 2,500 per month as of January 2026. This covers basic pay, with employers providing accommodation worth QAR 500 and transport allowance of QAR 300 monthly. Overtime beyond 48 hours per week is paid at 125% of the hourly rate, calculated as QAR 14.42 per hour.

Foreigners need an employer-sponsored work permit applied via the Ministry of Labour portal, followed by a 1-year renewable Residence Permit from MOI. Approval requires PSBD clearance and takes 5 working days. Visa category is 301 for private sector security roles.

Candidates must be 21-50 years old, literate with high school certificate or equivalent, and have at least 1 year of security experience. A clean police record and Category 4 medical fitness are mandatory. No university degree is required for entry-level positions.
