Job Description
About the role

Security Manager to ensure of establishing, implementing, and overseeing all security protocols, policies and operations to protect personnel high value nickel ore, critical infrastructure, explosive, heavy equipment, and company assets.

What you'll be doing
• Design and execute site wide security strategies, standards operating procedures (SOP's) and emergency response plans tailored to open-pit nickel mining, shipping process tailing facilities and transportation routes.
• Conduct regular risk assessment to identify threats such as ore diversion, sabotage, community conflicts, and supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Ensure alignment with Health, Safety and environmental (HSE) policies and business continuity goals.
• Coordinate security for one transport mine site to port to ensure integrity throughout the supply chain.
• Supervise, train, and discipline security supervisors, officers, and contract personnel, instill proper discipline, operational readiness, and ethical conduct.
• Ensure full adherence to Philippine mining laws, firearms regulations, labor code, and local government requirements.
• Serve as primary liaison the Philippine National Police (PNP) Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other military forces and law enforcement agency.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and provide evidence for legal proceedings or insurance claims.
• Monitor local security trends, criminal activities, and social issues to provide early warnings to management.
• Protect sensitive company information, exploration data, and operational plans from unauthorized access.

What we're looking for
• Bachelor Degree in Criminology or related field
• 7-10 years experience in law enforcement or military operations
• Deep understanding in Philippine laws, mining regulations, and security- related statutes.
• Expertise in risk assessment , security planning, intelligence gathering and crisis management.
• Strong leadership, decision making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work remote locations, adapt to harsh conditions, and maintain high operational standards.
• Valid professional license and clean service record.
