Job Description
The Company Electrician–Technician is responsible for the daily electrical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of company facilities. He will work closely with the current technician to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted electrical systems that support overall business operations. Duties and Responsibilities - Perform day-to-day inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including lighting, outlets, switches, panel boards, and circuit breakers - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize operational downtime - Assist in the installation, rewiring, and upgrading of electrical components as needed - Conduct preventive maintenance and routine electrical checks - Ensure all electrical work complies with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and company safety standards - Use electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeter, clamp meter) to diagnose issues accurately - Coordinate closely with the current technician on daily tasks, repairs, and projects - Respond to urgent or emergency electrical concerns when required - Maintain basic documentation such as maintenance logs or work reports - Follow proper safety procedures , including use of PPE and lockout/tagout practices - Perform other technical or maintenance-related tasks as assigned to support operations Qualifications - TESDA NC II or NC III – Electrical Installation and Maintenance - PRC Registered Electrician is an advantage - At least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance or operations - Knowledge of basic electrical diagrams and load computation - Familiarity with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) - Physically fit and able to work in field or facility-based environments Skills and Competencies - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Safety-conscious and detail-oriented - Ability to work well in a team environment - Reliable, punctual, and disciplined - Can work with minimal supervision - Willing to perform routine and repetitive maintenance tasks Work Conditions - May require overtime or emergency response depending on operational needs - Works closely with the company technician and operations team
