Job Description
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Maintain and repair all machinery.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: Graduate of a vocational course in Welding, SMAW, GMAW, or a related technical field. [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Certification: Must hold a valid TESDA National Certificate (NC I or NC II) in the specific welding process required (e.g., SMAW, GMAW). [1, 2, 3]
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven hands-on experience as a welder in construction, manufacturing, or fabrication. [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Skills: Proficient in using hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments; excellent hand-eye coordination; physical stamina to work in hot or confined spaces. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
