This is a unique, supervisory-level role that blends physical security, high-level customer service, and technical facility care. Beyond traditional guarding, you ensure the restaurant’s "heartbeat" remains steady by managing essential utilities and serving as a psychosocial shield for our service team. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Technical Utility & Asset Management - Monitor and record daily readings for gas, water, and electric meters to ensure accurate consumption tracking. - Manage the manual start-up/shut-down of signages, electric panel boards, generators, and water pumps during service interruptions to keep the kitchen and dining room running. - Implement protocols to guard company inventory and assets against theft, misuse, or damage. 2. Safety & Emergency Leadership (BOSH Aligned) - Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify security breaches or BOSH-related hazards (e.g., wet floors, blocked fire exits). - Lead the team as a first responder for medical emergencies (First Aid) and coordinate evacuation procedures during fires, earthquakes, or other crises. 3. Conflict De-escalation & Crowd Control - Supervise customer queues and entry/exit flow during peak hours to maintain a premium dining atmosphere. - Act as the primary de-escalator in instances of customer verbal abuse or aggressive behavior, ensuring the mental and physical well-being of the restaurant staff. - Apply professional intervention techniques only when strictly necessary to protect lives and property. 4. Incident Reporting & Investigation - Maintain precise, professional logbooks documenting all security incidents and utility data. - Lead preliminary investigations into missing items, inventory discrepancies, or suspicious activities on the premises. 5. Site Security & Personnel Support - Manage unauthorized entry and monitor high-traffic areas. - Ensure the safety of our team by providing security escorts for employees during late-night closing shifts. 6. Team Management - Manage a team of safety and security associates. - Plot and manage the team’s duty schedules. - Monitor the team’s individual performance. - Cascade to the team company updates and required coachings. Qualifications: - Minimum 2–3 years of experience in security, preferably in a supervisory role within the F&B or Hospitality industry. - Valid Security License; BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) certification is highly preferred. - Ability to operate basic mechanical/electrical systems (generators, pumps, and breakers). - Strong verbal communication and the ability to remain calm and authoritative under pressure. - Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and respond quickly to physical emergencies.
