As per the National Wages and Productivity Commission, the minimum wage for cleaning staff in the National Capital Region is PHP 670 per day as of January 2026. This rate applies to an 8-hour workday with overtime paid at 125% of the hourly rate after 8 hours.

As per the Department of Labor and Employment, applicants for cleaning staff roles need at least a high school diploma or equivalent and no prior experience is mandatory for entry-level positions. DOLE requires submission of a valid NBI clearance and medical certificate before starting work.
