Job DescriptionTe Haeata/The OpportunityCoronial Services are currently looking for a Wellington based Administration Support Officer. Ideally this is a full-time position but can discuss part time options for the right applicant.You will be working in a fast-changing environment that will require a high level of agility and resiliency.You will have strong interpersonal skills that will support your work with the Coronial Case Managers and the Coroners, but also be capable of dealing with distraught family members in sensitive circumstances. An ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.You will be expected to provide excellent and highly organised administrative support to Case Managers and our Coroners. You will need to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.On occasion, there will be a requirement to work additional hours with advance notice given so some flexibility in availability is required for this role.Ō Pūkenga/Skills And ExperienceIf you have the following key skills, then we would like to hear from you:Work effectively and calmly in stressful situationsBe able to handle viewing graphic coronial materialHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised, great at multi-tasking and able to prioritise effectivelyEnjoy working in a reactive as well as a proactive and fast paced environmentProfessional and confident phone mannerExceptional record-keeping skills with accurate typing and data entryA good working knowledge of Word and ExcelAbility to work both with direction and independentlyA desire to learn and adaptRelevant previous experience from other similar rolesAs travel may be required from time to time, you must be able to travel, sometimes at short notice.
