DescriptionLaminex New Zealand forms part of the Building Products division of Fletcher Building Products Ltd, and we are a trusted business partner for decorative surfaces and panel products, offering expert knowledge and exceptional value to our customers.A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Warehouse/DC Operator join our team based in Penrose, Auckland. It is a full-time, permanent role within a supportive team.The roleWe pair every new starter with an experienced buddy who’s there to support you, answer questions, and help you succeed.Pick, assemble and pack orders to meet customer requirements.Prepare despatch documentation and load for delivery.Sign for inwards goods and ensure item count is correct. Run and/or complete the rolling stocktake process for all products.Daily operation of reach and counterbalance forklifts in a busy DC environmentManual handling & moving products across the warehouse.Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)To be successful in this role, you will have the following:At least 1-2 current experience driving a Counterbalance/Reach.Previous experience working in warehousing & distribution environment.Comfortable using basic computer systems and warehouse softwareExperience with SAP or similar warehousing system advantageous.Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environmentComfortable to work at heights.Demonstrated proficiency in computer use, including accurate data entry and confident navigation of systems to retrieve and manage information.Physically fit as the role requires some manual handling.
