Smith's Mitre 10 Mega is a family-owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer every time.This is your opportunity to join our Hornby store and be part of the team as we strive to make our store a number one destination for all trade and DIY alike.This role is within our Dispatch area, and we are looking for a person to facilitate and conduct our deliveries for trade and retail customers as well as stock transfers between our Smiths stores. You will also assist in picking trade and retail orders, predominately in the Drive Thru area, and loading and unloading orders.You need to have a full driver's license and want to obtain your forklift license with the view to getting F endorsed.This role will involve:Conducting delivery of goods to site and to retail customer addresses.Meeting in full the customers expectation of delivery: in full, on time and in-specification.Assisting in transfers of stock between branches and collections from suppliers.Ensuring all orders are received in full and accurate record keeping of status of orders, and delivery scheduling.Co-ordinating outgoing freight and collections.Assisting customers with collection of goods in dispatch, ensuring the correct order is received and invoiced.Assisting with picking of trade and retail ordersFor this position we are looking for someone who has:Enthusiasm and team spiritA passion for customer service excellenceGood time managementA willingness to learnGood communication skillsPhysically capable of lifting heavy weightsFull NZ Driver's license with the view to getting an F endorsed forklift licenseThis role is Monday to Friday approximately 40 hours per week.If interested in moving your career ahead, please forward your cover letter and CV via this website
