Welder positions in Farwaniya

As per the Public Authority for Manpower, the minimum salary for skilled welders is 350 KWD per month as of January 2026. This covers basic pay for a 48-hour workweek, with overtime at 1.25 times the hourly rate. Employers must declare this salary for work permit approval.

Foreign welders require a verified job offer from a licensed Kuwaiti sponsor, approved by PAM, plus a work visa application fee of 15 KWD. A medical fitness certificate and criminal record check are mandatory before issuance of the 1-3 year residence permit for 10 KWD. Applications process in 2-4 weeks via the sponsor.

Candidates need a high school diploma or vocational welding certificate plus minimum 3 years of documented experience. Applicants aged 21-60 must pass PAM's welder trade test costing 20 KWD. Unskilled laborers without experience are ineligible for welder visas.
