No formal education or prior experience is required for unskilled cleaning positions per PAM labor guidelines as of 2026. Employers prioritize physical fitness and clean criminal record verified via police clearance. Age must be 21-60 years for work permit eligibility.

Required documents include passport valid 6+ months, PAM-approved employment contract, medical fitness certificate from approved clinic (25 KWD cost borne by employer), and authenticated police clearance. Submit to employer for PAM stamping before visa processing. Originals needed at residency application.
