Security Guard Required Full Time 19k–20k

As per the Delhi Labour Department, the minimum wage for security guards classified as semi-skilled workers in Delhi Zone I is ₹29,919 per month effective from October 2026, including basic rate of ₹21,516 plus Variable Dearness Allowance of ₹8,403. Overtime beyond 9 hours per day or 48 hours per week is paid at twice the ordinary rate of ₹166 per hour. This applies to establishments covered under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

Under the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005, candidates must be Indian citizens aged 18-60 years, with minimum qualification of Class 8 pass and no criminal record. Mandatory 100-hour training from a PSARA-approved institute is required before employment. Physical fitness standards include height of 165 cm for men and 152 cm for women.

Registration on NCS requires Aadhaar card, PAN card, 10th standard marksheet, and a recent passport-size photograph. For verification, upload skill certificate from PSARA training or NCVT if applicable. Job seekers must create a profile with mobile number linked to Aadhaar for OTP authentication.

Security guards are entitled to 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week under the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Act, 2017, with one paid weekly off. Night shift between 10 PM and 6 AM qualifies for 10% extra wages. Annual leave is 21 days after 240 days of service.
