Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Welder & Fitter to join our fabrication and production team. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, welding, and installing metal components and structures as per technical drawings and company standards. The role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Welding & Fabrication
• Perform welding activities (ARC / MIG / TIG as required)
• Fabricate metal structures and frames as per design drawings
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
• Ensure proper alignment and finishing of welded components

2. Fitting & Assembly
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements
• Assemble mechanical parts and structural components
• Install fabricated parts at site if required
• Ensure proper fitting, alignment, and fastening

3. Material Handling & Preparation
• Measure and mark materials for cutting and welding
• Prepare surfaces before welding
• Maintain tools, welding machines, and equipment
• Ensure proper storage of materials

4. Quality & Inspection
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and defects
• Ensure welding quality as per standards
• Rectify defects or misalignments
• Follow company quality and safety guidelines

5. Safety & Compliance
• Follow safety procedures during welding and fabrication
• Use protective equipment (gloves, helmet, safety shoes, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working environment
• Comply with company and statutory safety standards

6. Team Coordination
• Coordinate with design and production team
• Follow supervisor instructions
• Support installation and maintenance teams when required
