Job Description
Fantastic opportunities have arisen for candidates who can demonstrate and deliver high-quality security and act as a visual deterrent to our customers. As a dog handler, you would be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, water-work sites, warehouses & a deterrent to trespassers and unauthorised encampments. You’ll be responding to emergencies and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

Duties Include
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; equipment, and access points; permitting entry to authorised personnel only
• Prevent loss and damage to client sites by reporting irregularities
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
• Ensure risk assessment and assignment instructions are always followed to meet the customer requirements
• Deal with customers, staff, and visitors in a professional manner
• You must always conduct yourself in a manner that brings credit to Marpol Security Ltd.

Who are we looking for?
• An experienced dog handler with a minimum of 1 year security experience.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to think on your feet and be resourceful.

• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

Mandatory Requirements
• SIA Licence in one of the following: Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection.
• NASDU Level 2 or equivalent
• Own a suitable vehicle in accordance with British Standard 8517
