As we bring this exciting new opening to Glasgow, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading a talented brigade and delivering outstanding kitchen operations from day one. This role is ideal for a strong kitchen leader with experience in premium Asian or high-volume restaurant environments who thrives in fast-paced services and leads with passion, precision, and consistency.

Leading from the main pass, you will guide the team through busy services, ensuring every dish reflects the quality, presentation, and high standards that define The Ivy Asia experience.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with wastage, GP & Labour controls.
• Assist in scheduling, staffing, and performance management of kitchen personnel.
• Ensure that every dish in prepared and executed to the highest standards.
• Ensuring correct prep levels by our dedicated prep team.
• Ensuring deliveries and stock are put away correctly by the Goods Receiver.
• Precise ordering to ensure full menu availability and minimum wastage.
• Lead the team through positive and constructive methods.
• Daily due diligence.
• Looking after staff wellbeing.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high food standards.
• Pioneer a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality.
• Leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of EBITDA & GP.
• Understanding PnL’s to make positive cuts increasing overall profit.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience in Leading a large kitchen team.
