Location: Leeds
Salary up to Β£40,000 + Benefits
Shift: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm
Overtime 1.5

About your new company

My client is a large fleet maintenance company based in Leeds, due to their continued growth they are now looking for a skilled welder/fabricator to join their ever growing team.

About your new HGV Welder / Fabricator role
β€’ You will be required to undertake Welding / Fabricating on commercial vehicle bodies and chassis in a maintenance and refurbishment setting.
β€’ This will include tankers, trailers and HGV’s
β€’ You will be required to work on a huge variety of different vehicles so experience in a variety of sectors is beneficial

The successful HGV Welder / Fabricator will require
β€’ Experience of medium- heavy fabrication of steel construction & welding – (2mm to 10mm)
β€’ Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from a drawing and then complete welding
β€’ Ability to spot visual faults in fabrications and correct them in a timely fashion.
β€’ Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
β€’ Experience working on trucks, trailers and tankers
