About the role

SNSG Security Services is actively recruiting professional and reliable Door Supervisors to support a variety of venues and events across Birmingham and the wider Midlands night-time economy, including pubs, clubs and restaurants. Whether you’re seeking consistent shifts or flexible hours, we offer roles to suit your availability.

Position: Door Supervisor

Location: Birmingham & West Midlands

Hourly rate: £14.12 (inclusive of rolled-up holiday pay)

Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available (evening and night shifts)

Experience required: 1+ year preferred

About you

You’ll be confident, approachable and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage situations professionally while maintaining a strong customer-focused approach. A visible presence, excellent communication skills and sound judgement are essential.

Key responsibilities
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff
• Control access to venues in line with licensing and venue policies
• Monitor behaviour and intervene early to prevent incidents
• Handle conflict situations calmly and professionally
• Liaise with venue management, emergency services and local authorities where required
• Complete accurate incident reports and documentation
• Represent SNSG with a smart, professional appearance at all times

Requirements
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Must be 21 years or older
• Smart, sharp and professional appearance
• Confident presence and strong communication skills
• Dependable with strong common sense and judgement
• A calm, professional and approachable manner
• Full, clean driving licence desirable but not essential
• 5-year checkable work/education history (required during screening)
