About Brett

Brett is a relaxed, urban neighbourhood restaurant in Kelvinbridge centred around cooking over fire from our open kitchen. The counter‑style kitchen sits at the heart of the restaurant, giving guests a front‑row seat to the craft, while additional window and mezzanine seating offer a range of dining experiences.

Our wine list is modern and eclectic, showcasing exciting producers from across the globe, and is complemented by amazing cocktails and artisanal soft drinks.

The Role

We are currently recruiting a Senior CDP to support our Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering exceptional food and leading our kitchen team.

As Senior CDP, you will:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and lead the team in delivering consistently outstanding dishes.
• Train, motivate and support the team while upholding high standards.
• Ensure compliance in areas such as food safety, health & safety, and risk assessments.
• Build positive relationships across the entire team, inspiring them to create memorable experiences for guests.

Our 4‑day working week ensures a strong work‑life balance, with all staff enjoying Sundays, Mondays, and one additional weekday off.
About You

You're a great fit for this role if you:
• Have a genuine passion for food and a minimum of two years’ experience as a CDP in a high‑quality, busy kitchen.
• Have a strong track record of delivering exceptional dishes under pressure.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with your team.
• Are honest, hardworking, flexible, and a true team player.
• Bring excellent attention to detail and are confident with kitchen paperwork, from stock control to cost reporting (full training provided).
