Job Description
Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Picker & Packer to join our busy warehouse team. This role involves selecting, packing, and preparing products for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have some warehouse experience and possess the physical capability to handle heavy loads. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within logistics and warehouse management. All roles are paid, including internship positions, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and quality standards.

Duties
• Select items from stock according to order specifications using appropriate materials handling techniques
• Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring protection during transit
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
• Manage stock levels and organise inventory using warehouse management systems
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading lorries
• Conduct quality control checks to verify product accuracy and condition
• Stock shelves and organise storage areas efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Support the movement of goods throughout the warehouse as needed

Skills
• Experience in materials handling, picking & packing, shipping & receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
• Ability to operate forklift trucks safely (training can be provided)
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse equipment is a plus
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for order accuracy
• Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and load/unload goods regularly
• Good organisational skills for stocking and inventory management
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Awareness of quality control procedures to ensure high standards of product handling
