HGV Class 1 Night Driver - Ongoing Work

£17.00 per hour
Location Sheffield

Pertemps Sheffield is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for regular, ongoing work with a leading logistics company.

The Role
• Monday to Friday
• Night shifts starting between 2:00pm and 6:00pm
• Regular ongoing work
• A mix of trunking between RDCs, store deliveries and RDC-to-store deliveries
• Complete vehicle checks before each shift
• Ensure all delivery paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations
• Follow all site health and safety procedures

Requirements
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD or DR convictions)
• Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Reliable with a professional attitude and excellent communication skills
• Successful applicants will be required to pass a driving assessment before starting work.
