Overview:

Join our team at Kent Pipework Services, a leading Mechanical & Plumbing contractor, as a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter. We are seeking a dedicated individual with expertise in plumbing and pipefitting to contribute to our dynamic projects.

Must have enhanced DBS, CSCS Blue or Gold card & publi liability insurance

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings

- Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures

- Interpret blueprints and schematics to plan pipe layouts for plumbing systems

- Weld and solder pipes using various techniques such as stick welding

- Collaborate with team members to efficiently build and install piping systems

- Inspect structures to identify pipe or plumbing system issues and propose solutions

- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations at all times

Skills:

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for plumbing and pipefitting tasks

- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues effectively

- Ability to weld, solder, and perform stick welding as required

- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics

- Capacity to build, weld, and maintain piping systems accurately
