Contract: 14 Hours Per Week - All Year Round

3pm-6pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm-5pm Friday

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit a committed and hard-working colleague to the role of Cleaning Assistant. This is a key position within the Academy, contributing to the provision of a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and standards throughout the academy building. The post holder will work under the direct supervision of the Site Manager.

The potential applicant will have:

· The ability to safely handle and use potentially hazardous cleaning materials in the process of general cleaning.

· The ability to work constructively as part of a team.

· Sufficient reading skills to understand safety instructions and chemical labels, in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
