Job Purpose

The Part-Time Site Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing security operations across multiple client locations, ensuring that security officers perform their duties professionally and in accordance with company procedures and client requirements. The role includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday site supervision, weekend on-call operational support, and providing additional supervisory cover during key operational periods throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision
• Conduct supervisory visits to multiple client sites on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week (see Working Pattern below for detailed hours).
• Monitor security officers' performance, attendance, appearance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure service standards are maintained.
• Provide guidance, support, and instruction to security personnel where required.
• Complete site visit reports and communicate any issues or concerns to management.
• Ensure client requirements are met and maintain positive client relationships.
Weekend On-Call Responsibilities
• Be available on call from 17:00 on Friday until 07:00 on Monday each weekend.
• Monitor the sign-in/log-in system throughout the on-call period and respond promptly to pager alerts, phone calls, and emergencies; on-call duties may be carried out remotely from home.
• Act as the primary point of contact for emergency calls from clients and employees during on-call hours.
• Monitor staffing levels and respond to operational issues as they arise.
• Coordinate emergency cover or relief staff when required.
• Provide remote support and guidance to site personnel.
• Escalate significant incidents to senior management in accordance with company procedures.
Additional Operational Cover
• Provide supervisory cover during key operational periods throughout the year.
• This will typically include up to eight (8) UK Bank Holidays.
• Three (3) weeks during the summer holiday period (typically between 20 July and 25 August).
• Approximately three (3) weeks (typically on April, September and/or October).
• The exact dates will be agreed in advance and may vary slightly each year.
• Undertake site visits and supervisory duties during these periods.

Requirements
• Previous experience in a security supervisory or management role.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence.
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good report-writing and administrative skills.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Flexible and reliable approach to working hours and operational requirements.

Working Pattern
• Friday: site supervision, 5 hours, either 15:00–20:00 (winter) or 19:00–00:00 (summer).
• Saturday: site supervision, 10 hours total, split into a 6-hour morning shift (07:00–13:00) and a 4-hour evening shift.
• Sunday: site supervision, 6 hours, normally 07:00–13:00.
• Total core supervision hours: 21 hours per week (Friday 5 + Saturday 10 + Sunday 6).
• On-call duty every weekend, from 17:00 on Friday until 06:00 on Monday, covering monitoring of the sign-in/log-in system, response to pager alerts, and answering calls and emergencies; this may be carried out remotely from home.
