Job Description
Job Introduction

We are looking for a Team member to:
• Help deliver a high-quality product to market that meets the Bigham’s standards.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that Bigham’s is a great place to work.
• Ensure you are aware of & work to all safety guidelines, following all training whilst ensuring you work in a safe environment.

Main Responsibilities
• To work within all H&S and Food Safety control measures, raising any concerns to management.
• Follow Product key cards to ensure all products are made to the required & expected standards at Bigham’s.
• Contribute to a working environment that will make the London Kitchen a Great place to work.
• Any areas of improvement should be highlighted to a Kitchen leader to help us keep improving.

People
• Help make any new team members feel welcome & help them where appropriate.
• In times of absence, be sure to the follow the absence policy and return to work policies.
• Raise any concerns around training & take responsibility when you feel you need more.

Safety & Environment
• Ensure that you follow all H&S controls & training you have received.
• Highlight any concerns regarding H&S to your manager or the H&S manager.
• Raise any near misses you may come across.
• Report any accidents in a timely & detailed manner.

Quality
• Ensure quality standards are delivered through following product key cards at all times.
• If key cards are not readable then please raise the concerns to your team leader of area manager immediately.

Delivery & Operation Performance
• Be aware of performance expectations to ensure that we deliver product to budget, this will be communicated to you via a team leader or area manager.
• Any deviation from the daily plan should be escalated to your team leader or area manager immediately.
• Work with the leaders in the department to deliver our operational KPI’s & targets.
• If applicable, ensure job postings in your area are completed regularly & accurately, pro-actively communicating any issues to your leaders.
• Have a basic understanding of materials variance to help drive improvement & corrections.

Continuous Improvement
• If applicable, record downtime information, accurately accounting for any lost time.
• Actively engage in problem solving, identifying opportunities for improvement.

• The successful candidate is expected to become multi-skilled by the end of the probation period, to support current operational skill gaps across the team

• Work within the company’s rules and policies, introducing procedures where appropriate in conjunction with technical documentation requirements.
• Work with a dedication of delivering products to the market safely, with authenticity, legality & quality.
• Adhere to the health and safety policy of the company and work within its guidelines to ensure personal safety of staff at all times
