Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel’s communal spaces. This role is essential in providing guests with a welcoming and hygienic environment, ensuring that public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other shared spaces are kept immaculate. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality service. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitise all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and reception areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials in designated areas.
• Ensure all surfaces are dust-free, floors are swept and mopped regularly, and waste is disposed of appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the relevant department promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with hotel policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required to support overall hotel operations.

Skills
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and presentation.
• Good organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
