Job Description
Purpose of Job:

To carry out leak detection survey’s and other activities associated with leak detection in order to meet the demands of our customers. You will be required to create a cost effective solution in order to find the source of the leak. A proven ability to problem solve and deal with quickly changing circumstances while making sure all the details are properly dealt with.

Key Responsibilities:
• Check instructions for survey’s on a daily basis and receive updates regularly.
• Take responsibility for assigned projects by liaising with all parties, including meeting with the customer and other key stakeholders at the incident to establish the customer’s key needs.
• Carry out surveys to prepare accurate work orders and arrange actions to meet customer’s specific needs.
• Assist with continual improvement in the quality and efficiency of the leak detection service.
• Achieving the productivity objectives set by the business for his/her territory.
• Maintain leak detection equipment using guidelines provided by the manufacturer, this includes a health check of all equipment after each use.
• Complete all documentation as per the handyman platform and processes outlined, this should include a detailed report on the type and location of leak, with annotated photographs.
• Liaise with the service center team to ensure survey’s are completed smoothly.
• Ensure that Quality, Management, and Health & Safety procedures are both understood and fully implemented.
• Good customer relations by presenting yourself in a professional manner at all times.
• Assist restoration teams with leak detection services
• Assist the regional restoration teams when work allows and also during surge periods.
• Promote a high quality customer service culture, with timely responses to all contacts liaising with other engineers and the service center to ensure customer standards are upheld.
• To act upon own ability to overcome problems/issues.
• Understand and implement the use of new procedures and materials.
• Development of relationships with loss adjusters and other customer representatives.
• Attend training and tool box talks when required.
• Any other reasonable management request.
