Part-Time Warehouse & Dispatch Operative

Location: Sheffield
Hours: 24 hours per week (with opportunity for additional hours)
Salary: £13.50–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hooton Group Ltd is a growing manufacturer and supplier of bespoke frameless shower doors and glass shower enclosures. We pride ourselves on supplying high-quality products together with exceptional customer service.

We're looking for a reliable and conscientious Warehouse & Dispatch Operative to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to become an important part of a growing business.

The Role

This is not a high-speed warehouse environment. Accuracy, care and attention to detail are far more important than rushing.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Receiving and checking deliveries.
• Operating a forklift safely to unload, move and store stock.
• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Carefully packing bespoke glass products for dispatch.
• Carrying out quality checks before goods leave the warehouse.
• Organising and maintaining a clean, tidy warehouse.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely.
• Assisting with occasional local collections or deliveries if required.

The ideal candidate will:
• Hold a valid UK forklift truck licence.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Be physically fit and comfortable handling heavy items safely.
• Be organised and able to work independently.
• Have previous warehouse and dispatch experience.
• Have a positive attitude and be willing to support the wider team when required.
